Joining the Farm Opportunities Database How to Join Farm Seekers and Farm Owners complete a FarmLink questionnaire and include a description of approximately 100 words describing their farm opportunity. It is most important that the farm listing reflect the situation you are looking for in order for you to make contact with likely candidates. A one-time fee of $40 is required to cover administrative costs of the program Mail the questionnaire to NY FarmLink c/o NY FarmNet 415 Warren Hall, Ithaca, NY 14853. Make check payable to NY FarmLink. What you will Receive On receipt of your completed questionnaire you will be emailed or mailed your membership identification number. Farm listings submitted by Farm Owners and Seekers are published in a quarterly newsletter, and on this website. Published listings DO NOT include full contact information. How the Process Works If you identify a farm listing that looks like a possible opportunity, call 1-800-547-3276 with the listing number and your member ID. A complete copy of the questionnaire with contact information will be mailed to you. Contacting each other is your responsibility. Membership renewal will be completed on an annual basis. You will be mailed a form to update your listing, continue with the same listing, or discontinue. An evaluation form will allow you to provide feedback on your experience with the program. No renewal fee is required. If a link is made, or you wish to be removed from the program, please let us know so we can update our files and discontinue publishing your listing.
